WOA Winter Conference Registration Now OPEN!



The Wyoming Optometric Association would like to invite you to attend the 2017 Winter Conference in Cheyenne.  Come participate in a legislative day, learn from experts, attain CE credits, and network with your peers.

Agenda Highlights:

Thursday, January 26th- Join us at 12:30pm to get updated on legislative issues and then take a trip to the Capitol to speak to your legislator.  The WOA Legislative Reception will begin at 6:00pm.  

Friday, January 27th- Don't miss the Annual WOA Awards Luncheon sponsored by OOGP. (Guests welcome- $15) 

Friday, January 29th- Attendees and guests are invited to participate in a fun dinner beginning at 6:00pm.  Generously sponsored by Dishler, this year's dinner is still being planned but promises to be located in a unique Cheyenne venue with something for everyone.  (Guests welcome- $25)

The Winter Conference will be held at Little America Hotel, Cheyenne, WY.  Discounted rooms are available:
Deluxe Room: $99.00 per night (plus tax).
Preferred Room: $119.00 per night (plus tax)
Executive Room: $229.00 per night (plus tax)
Please make your own reservations.  You must call the LIttle America to make reservations.  Mention the Wyoming Optometric Association.  Reservations must be made by December 25, 2016 in order to receive the discounted rate.

The CE this year includes a total of 10 hours and covers practice managment, Neuro-Optometry, and Sytemic/Ocular Disease.  Featured speakers are Spencer Johnson, OD, the Dishler Laser Institute, and the Compliancy Group.

Dr. Nikalous Tolman graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern California College of Optometry this past May, (2016). Nikalous spent his rotations at Hoopes Vision in Draper, UT (LASIK and Cataract Surgical Center), Lemoore Naval Airbase in Central California, and one of the outreach VA medical centers in Tucson AZ. He enjoys all aspects of Optometry, but his favorite parts of his job are fitting contact lenses and treating Glaucoma. He replaced Dr. King at Albany Eye Care in Laramie and is currently working along side Dr. Pieper in both Laramie and Rawlins. Nik has been married to Michelle for 7 years now, they have one 3 year old son and 2 more children on the way in April of 2017. As a family they enjoy the outdoors; camping, hunting and fishing. They also enjoy cheering on the Pokes in football and basketball. Becoming an Optometrist was a lifetime goal for Nik, providing vision and taking care of various eye diseases has always interested him.
