What is VisiDisc®?

VisiDisc® is an all-natural treatment that utilizes powerful Growth Factors, Collagens, Extracellular Proteins and BioActive® Molecules naturally found in human amniotic tissues. These amniotic tissue components may provide your body with the foundation it needs to reduce pain and inflammation, restore tissue and reduce scarring. Where does VisiDisc® come from? VisiDisc® is derived from human placental tissues, donated by volunteer U.S. based donors after a live, healthy C-section delivery. VisiDisc® products are processed with HydraTek®, by Human Regenerative Technologies, LLC (HRT). HydraTek® provides an outstanding standard of safety, through its stringent donor screening, tissue testing, and strict quality control. All testing and safety standards meet or exceed the FDA requirements. The HydraTek(R) technology also allows the graft to be ready-to-use and has an extended shelf-life of five years.

Additionally, the AOA has also been looking into issues with Davis Vision.  In a letter to the US Attorney General, AOA asks the Department of Justice to look into serious concerns about Davis Vision, affecting doctors and patients.  READ THE LETTER HERE
